The Coreus Foundations ‘people first’ agenda stood out to us, as it is in close alignment with CHSW’s objectives which include putting babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families, at the centre of all we do.

How has the grant made an impact?

It has been an exciting and rewarding start to the year at CHSW, with the launch of our ‘Reach Further’ strategy which will build on our strong foundations across our communities, whilst extending our reach and deepening our impact. This will ensure that more babies, children and young people and their families can benefit from our care across the region.
Thanks to the incredible work of our care teams at Little Harbour, the hospice was recently recognised by the Care Quality Commission with their outstanding practice in care – meaning our services involved people and treated them with compassion, kindness, dignity and respect.
