ABOUT US

We believe that Coreus and all companies have a responsibility to support the communities in which we live and work. The construction industry has a profound economic, social and environmental impact. This affects society, influencing productivity and wellbeing. As a community-focused business, we recognise the difference that our industry can make. So, we have created The Coreus Foundation, as a vehicle to create significant public benefit, consistent with Coreus’ social value ambitions.

The Coreus Foundation will be devoted to making a significant difference in the communities where Coreus operates, through supporting charitable social value, and environmental initiatives, as well as committing to donating 1% of its annual net profit to The Coreus Foundation over the next 4 years.

The Foundation will build strong and enduring relationships with charity partners and the trustees believe that investing for the long term is the best way to maximise the impact of Coreus’ charitable funding and pro bono support. This also enables The Foundation to build authentic partnerships, which provide additional opportunities for Coreus employees to give back and so further increase the public benefit and charitable impact provided by The Foundation.

OUR TRUSTEES

We couldn't do what we do without the help of our valuable Trustees.

Neville Coles - Chair of Trustees

Neville has spent 35 years in education, teaching a range of subjects in large secondary schools in Leicestershire, Hertfordshire and Somerset. In 2007 Neville became the Principal / Headteacher of - Priory Community School (North Somerset) and a National Leader for Education and an Ofsted inspector.

After an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted inspection in 2014, Priory Community School were asked by the Department for Education to form a Multi Academy Trust (MAT) – The Priory Learning Trust - which grew to a group of 9 schools with 5,000 students and 800 staff.

Neville now greatly enjoys assisting The Coreus Group with leadership and business development. Through our Charitable Foundation, he knows to stay true to the core values of Coreus - that is, to be industry leaders, disruptive innovators and a real force for good in our local communities.

The Foundation will annually support a Charity of the Year, whilst also supporting a range of local groups who are seeking to do good, specifically with a focus on well-being and conservation initiatives involving young people.
