We wanted to support students whose parents weren't eligible for pupil premium funding to pay for instrumental lessons, but who, after bills and monthly financial commitments, didn't have the spare money to pay for instrumental lessons. We focussed on students who were showing particular promise on their instruments that they have started playing as part of our Music Academy scheme.
